Spring is coming (Yay!) and we are pumped. Like, really pumped. Cozy, thick sweaters and big, bulky boots were fun, but aren’t you ready for ballet flats and thin knit tops? Here at Pearl & Clasp we’re already prepping, and so should you! Need some inspiration? Look to the stars!
We’re into Rihanna’s spring styles- everything from casual to fancy. Here’s a peek at some of her most popular outfits and seasonal trends.
Boyfriend jeans and striped shirt. Chic and casual, this combo has a bit of a sophisticated edge. Add a feminine touch with some heeled sandals and a clutch, like Rihanna does here. Great jewery and a pop of lipstick are a must, too!
White on white. Another popular spring style among many fashion designers and celebrities is white, white and more white. Rihanna pulled this off in her own unique way with a white cropped sweater and white midi pleated skirt, pairing them with black strappy sandals and slicked-back hair for some dramatic contrast.
Bright colors. Rihanna has never been known for her subtle taste, and this outfit shows off a wide range of beautiful spring colors and styles in a very artistic but laid back way. Try pairing a neutral-colored t-shirt with bright bottoms, bejewelled accessories and strappy sandals or pumps in another color to get the full Rihanna effect.
Interesting textures. In classic Rihanna style, she mixed a red velvet dress, dramatic dark lipstick and heels with a leather jacket and sunglasses for a Christmas dinner. Try pairing a classy, asymetrical midi-dress with an edgy leather jacket, subtle heels, dramatic makeup and pearls to create the look yourself.
Denim and denim. We love this one! In a creative twist Rihanna dressed up a denim shirt with a knee-length denim pencil skirt instead of jeans. Add nude heels, great sunglasses, an interesting bracelet and a leather cap to channel your inner Rihanna and add subtle flair to an old classic.
