A-line dresses are another classic, feminine option. These can can be longer, hitting mid-calf, or right above the knee. Either way can look professional and modest if worn correctly- just make sure your neckline is high enough to cover any cleavage. These dresses also look great with cardigans, easily solving the temperature change issue.
